Here are some talks I've given about data science and my work with Clojure. You can also get a complete list on my youtube channel.

• Clojure on the cyberpunk frontier of democracy - Clojure Conj, Nov 2018
  A (hopefully) refreshing look at governance through the lens of cybernetics, and ideas about how we can improve democracy through the thoughtful use of AI and technology. In particular, I discuss a tool I built called Polis which uses machine learning to help listen at scale, and the role that the Clojure language played in the implementation of this application.

  A talk about building Clojure/ClojureScript applications with Datomic and DataScript, building on the ideas in the Web After Tomorrow.
  
  
• A Strange Coop - How Clojure saved my chickens from the evil raccoons - April 2015
  A playful talk about how I used Clojure on a BeagleBone Black to automatically shut and lock my chicken coop at night (and open in the morning), to save them from a gruesome fate.
